D&D Alignment: Lawful Good If you look into anyone's heart, you can find a dream there| History Honey was born in Kimitsu, Chiba, Japan to the Haninozuka family, a prestigious martial arts family who came from old money due to their agreements to train various military personnel. Honey was trained in martial arts by his dad, and while he showed an almost absurd amount of natural skill, Honey didn't enjoy training, preferring cute things and enjoying himself to the constant training he was placed under. After a spar with his dad, Honey was finally allowed to stop training and pursue his own interests. His younger brother, Yasuchika, felt that Honey was shirking his responsibilities as a member of the Haninozuka family, and the two have been on bad terms since then. Honey attended Ouran High, a private academy, where he met Tamaki Suou, and eventually joined the school's Host Club with his cousin, Takashi. Due to his appearance and fondness for sweets and cute things, Honey realized he fit the bill for the club's "loli shota" demographic, and joined the club to fill that role, and to make friends. Honey transfered from Ouran to Arcadia at the end of tenth grade, and from Arcadia to Poseidon Academy when the nexus became unstable. Honey developed a close, familial relationship with Fox Mulder ( ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} truth_seeker) and Dana Scully (skeptical_agent), which lasted a little over one year. During this time, Honey was abducted by aliens, though it was discovered after he underwent hypnotic regression therapy that Honey had been one of several people kidnaped for experiments regarding dream manipulation, nightmare creation and control. After confronting Alex Krycek about it over the network, Honey was kidnaped by Krycek, but was rescued before anything lasting (physically, at least) could happen. Because of the kidnaping, Honey developed a near phobia of hypodermic needles, which has yet to go away. Not unlike other alien abudctees, Honey had a small metallic identification chip inserted near the base of his neck.Honey also eventually divulged to some of his friends that his mom (*), Rei Haninozuka, had died in a car accident when Honey was younger. Eventually, at Mulder's insistence although Honey also wanted to know what had really happened, Honey learned that Rei had survived the car accident due to the Black Oil inside of her system, which had been incorrectly reported as motor oil by the emergency response team. Mulder was abducted by Krycek before Honey made a deal with Krycek to trade his last physical copy of the news article on the car crash in exchange for the information to save Rei. Due to her immune system collapsing from her transportation to the school campus, Rei died before Honey could begin to work out what the various math formulas and notes meant. Honey's dad and brother were also targeted and had all memories of Rei erased from their minds by the time Honey spoke to them again. Honey held a private memorial service for Rei on May 10, 2008. [*: A character created for Honey's AU canon, since his mom is never mentioned in the anime adaption.] On June 12, 2008, Honey suffered Hypovolemic Shock and was temporarily hospitalized for treatment until his recovery. Once released, Honey received information on how to possibly restore his family's memories of Rei. Assuming the sender to be Krycek, Honey confronted him with Scully and learned that the woman in the included photograph was a clone. Reasoning that Krycek could easily give him information to make the situation worse, Honey refused to make a deal with him and came away from the meeting the same way he had arrived. During the trip back, he suffered a nosebleed, though this was just an ill timed coincidence, and not related to his Hypovolemic episode, or the metal chip in his neck. After a trip home to meet his dad's new fiance, Honey learned that the woman in question had been sent as quality control for the unknown people behind his family's memory altering. Once she was found out, the woman quickly vanished, and Honey's dad citied her possibly being involved with loan sharks to explain her departure. Still wary of the situation, but glad that things had died down, Honey went back to his normal routine. Upon meeting Jean Grey in 2009, Honey began studying telekinesis, though he can't do anything with it yet. Professor Grey, as Honey's come to call her, also helped Honey with some psychological issues he was suffering, due to hearing the voice of what he assumed to be his shadow. After a failed attempt to resurrect Rei, Honey has gone back to simply making good luck charms, and trying to understand how to manifest the shield that will sometimes show up during high stress situations; but to no avail. Although his relationships with Mulder and Scully aren't as close as they used to be, Honey still considers them very important, as with the rest of his friends. His interest in Telekensis seems to have been a passing fad, since it's been a while since he's attempted anything. Honey also appears to have a lower capability, since he was unable to move anything, despite following instructions to concentrate. Honey has continued to show a keen interest in magic, though he's branched out from good luck charms to beginner level defense spells. Dreams have the power to transform into magic| Personality Honey is a very charming young adult, who likes meeting people and making new friends. He looks much younger than he actually is, much to his amusement and is often mistaken for an elementary school student, instead of preparing for his first year of college. He's very outgoing and happy and likes giving people he knows nicknames. (Note: In canon, this is a shortened version of the person's first name with the suffix "-chan" attached to it. To keep things easier, PA! Honey's nicknames are usually the full version of someone's first name, with the suffix attached, with exception to his friends from Ouran). Despite Honey's appearance and fondness for Usa-chan , Honey actually doesn't take compliments on his appearance very well; often blushing when he's called "cute". If this is from actual embarrassment or if it's being done because it's expected of him, is something Honey won't tell. Honey usually tries to see the best in situations and people, and it upsets him to be around overly negative people for a long period of time. For all of his positive thinking, Honey can be very serious and focused when the situation calls for it, though he hates to be mean for longer than he has to be. He can be stubborn when trying to prove a pont, and has been described as "damned scary" while serious, as his demeanor changes from a bright eyed teenager to a focused young man who's intent on doing what he feels the need to be done. Due to his training and natural skill, Honey is very strong in martial arts, having hospitalized his dad during the spar about his interests. After the incident, Honey promised to take it easy from then on, and usually fights at anywhere from 15-25% of his capacity, and would have to be convinced to fight at anything more than that. However, he responds poorly to enclosed spaces, indicating claustrophobia, and under high stress situations, he can be easily manipulated and lead to believe things, despite logical arguments that support otherwise. (For example, assuming that a drink has been spiked with a sedative and passing out, when in fact the tea wasn't doctored at all). He also can't handle most horror movies, and is wary of vampires, due to being bitten by one (but NOT transformed since he didn't drink any of the vampire's blood) while at Arcadia Garden. Vampirism showed up in his life again, and Honey went through a brief period of being one of the undead due to drinking what he assumed to be a safe potion, left on his doorstep by an unknown party. He has since recovered, much to his relief.
